Victoria Ratliff

Victoria Ratliff  is currently a Sophomore Honor Roll student at Morristown High School.  Victoria started working with special needs kids in sixth grade and found a special love for it.  She initiated the lunch buddy program in seventh grade at Frelinghuysen Middle School.  With her passion for the water, her job in working with the kids in K2K has become one of her proudest accomplishments.

Victoria has been in love with the water since she was six months old.  She has been swimming competitively since she was ten years old.  She competes for Morristown High School where she was selected to the NJAC Swim Team and was voted Rookie of the Year in 2014.  She also competes for Somerset Hills YMCA where she has qualified for State Championships four years in a row and the USA Swimming Junior Olympics.

Victoria also has been playing the violin since she was 3rd grade and plays and sings in the Morristown High School Select Chorus.  She volunteers at her church, she is an Altar Server and for the past four years, she has been a Vacation Bible School leader for the younger kids.  At Christmas time, she hand writes and designs individualized holiday cards for all of her teachers which she has done since she was in Kindergarten.  It’s a labor of love that takes hours, but, like everything Victoria does, she takes pride in it.  Even during the very busy school year, Victoria dedicates hours to charity every week.

Victoria’s love for the water goes beyond competing.  She plans to attend college to study marine biology with a cetacean specialty and animal psychology as her double major — that way she can work with and study dolphins and almost never have to leave the water.
