Emily Skilton

Emily Skilton began volunteering with the Kids 2 Kids swimming program her freshman year of high school and is still an active participant now as a senior. She is an honor roll student at Morristown High School and swims competitively for both MHS and her club team, Morris County Swim Club. She has committed to continue her swimming and academic career at College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. Emily loves teaching kids of all ages to swim, and she finds it especially rewarding when she sees them improve in their swimming abilities and have an amplified love for the sport. K2K offers an incredible network of mentors that strive to integrate special needs kids into activities that they may not be able to participate in otherwise; and Emily is honored to be a part of such a life changing program. In fact, lots of the older swimmers compete for their high school teams! In addition to swimming, Emily enjoys reading (Harry Potter is her favorite), watching movies and TV shows, photography, and digital art.
