Claire Wong
Claire Wong is a part of the Class of 2025 at Newark Academy and has been volunteering with Kids to Kids (K2K) since she was in fifth grade. A swimmer for the Metro Area LifeTime Swim Team, she has several years of experience teaching kids how to swim from working with members of the Dolphins swim team, and has transferred that experience into teaching K2K participants in the pool.
At school, Claire is a member of the National Junior Honor Society and a member of the Gifted and Talented Club. She enjoys reading, swimming, and putting a smile on other’s faces. Claire has an older brother, Will, who is also a member of K2K.
Since joining K2K, Claire has been taught several life lessons and been able to develop more patience and improve her communication skills. She is forever grateful for the opportunity she’s been given, and is currently trying to recruit more mentors so they can receive the same opportunity.
