Lauren Smith

Lauren Smith is currently a Junior Honor Roll Student at Morristown High School. She has been a competitive swimmer for The Greater Morristown YMCA since the age of 9, and thoroughly enjoys using her swimming talent as a way to help the disabled through the Kids2Kids Swimming Program.

Lauren is a part of the STEM Academy at Morristown High School, concentrating mainly on mathematics and biology. She is a Youth Council Member for the Morristown Community Soup Kitchen, has been a volunteer counselor at two bible camps, and spends her Summer lifeguarding and being an apprentice coach at her Summer pool, the Kellogg Club. Lauren is also a part of camp PALS, a sleepaway summer camp for individuals with Down Syndrome. She also spends her time as an ambassador for Calling All Kids, an in-house television station at Morristown Medical Center, where she reads stories and brings local events to the patients through their TV.

Lauren has been a swimming mentor and board member since the inception of Kids2Kids. Before the creation of K2K, she was an active member of SNAP (Special Needs Athletic Program), starting in third grade.
